Diamond H Ranch was founded by owners Justin and Jade Herl. In May of 2007, they purchased a cow herd consisting of 20 head and in March of 2008, they had their first private treaty sale. Over the years they have focused on breeding to high quality genetics, implementing superior hybrid vigor, and getting the female right first. The ranch now consists of 200 pair, in addition to our commercial heifer buy-back program. The cattle are on grassland in the summer and stay there for as long as possible. Basically, the cows are expected to go to work. It is their job to raise their calf and have them heavy and ready for weaning in the fall.
